<p>Robert Williams</p> <p>On October 30, 1945, a baby boy was born to Virginia Monroe and Freddie Williams, whom they named Robert.&nbsp; He attended school in Liberty, TX where he lived before relocating to Galveston County and later Brazoria County where he became a Mason.&nbsp;</p> <p>He provided for his family as a mechanic and lived life to the fullest hunting and fishing, fishing being his favorite pastime. He loved his Westerns on TV, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and was known for being the best bbq&rsquo;er in town and being able to repair anything.&nbsp; He was the last to bed at night and the first to rise, answering the call for all, young and old, be it day or night. If you knew him, you know he was never late to anything. He was everyone&rsquo;s &ldquo;daddy&rdquo; and everyone&rsquo;s &ldquo;Pawpaw&rdquo;. His commitment to God was strong and steadfast and he united with the Burrell Chapel Baptist Church where he served there faithfully until his death.</p> <p>He departed this life Friday, September 10, 2021 at CHI St. Luke Health Brazosport in Lake Jackson, Texas.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Williams, mother, Virginia Monroe-Russell, brother, Wesley Monroe, and wife, Bobbie Williams.&nbsp;</p> <p>He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving partner, Ruthia Fisher; sons, Elton Black (Liz), Louis Brown, Robert Williams Jr., Chad Williams (Karen), Robert Patterson, Damian Johnson, Courtney Davis, Samuel Fisher (Keisha), Alexander Fisher (Lucretia), Vernon Bell, Henry Fisher (Telsa), and Johnnie Fisher Jr.; daughters, Tracy Brown (William), Thora White, Shelia Hebert, Tammie Williams, Khani Hampton (Michael Sr.), Robin Wiley (Dante&rsquo;), and Tiffany Murchison (Cody);&nbsp; Three sisters, Bernadette Warren, Sheena Foston (AC), Antoinette Smith and one brother, Ralph Russell.&nbsp; He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and many, many friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services for Robert Williams will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Burrell Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Lynn Phipps officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow at The Burial Association Cemetery in Van Vleck, TX.</p> <p>Visitation will be at Dixon Funeral Home of Angleton on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. &ndash; 7:00 p.m.</p> <p>&quot;Due to the&nbsp;COVID-19&nbsp;Virus, everyone&nbsp;must wear a mask and practice social distancing.</p> <p>Final arrangements entrusted to Dixon Funeral Home of Angleton, TX.
