Flossie Johnson NEWBERRY Flossie Pruett Johnson, 96, formerly of York, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Jessie Frank Hawkins Healthcare Center in Newberry. A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 10 - 11 AM at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Adam L. and Rhoda Moss Pruett. She was the widow of Sidney B. Johnson, was a member of First Presbyterian Church of York, and was retired from Cannon Mills. She is survived by daughter, Lynn Johnson of Newberry, SC, son Ken Johnson of Rock Hill, SC, and a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Stan Johnson. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and nurses of Jessie Frank Hawkins Healthcare Center in Newberry, Tri County Hospice of Newberry, and to Dr. Michael Bernardo. Memorials may be made to First Prebyterian Church Ladies Bible Class, 10 W. Liberty Street, York, SC 29745, or to a charity of ones choice.
