Obituary Notice Ruth Wood YORK Ruth Hambright Wood,, of York passed away Friday, August 17, 2012, at her home in York. The funeral will be at 11:00 am on Monday August 20, 2012 at Union Baptist Church, 1945 Ratchford road York, SC 29745, Pastor Ray Long officiating. Burial will be at Union Bapist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday August 19, 2012 at Union Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 6-8:00 pm. She is survived by her husband of 64 years William N. "Bill" Wood, sons Ted and his wife Wanda, and Brent Wood, she is alson survived by her 'adopted" son Ken Williams, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, her sisters and their husbands, Sid Whitesides, (Marshall), Teresa Bland, (Tommy), and her church family. She was predeceased by a son William N. Wood, Jr."Billy" and his wife Charley. Memorials may be made to the Charity of Ones Choice.
