She was the daughter of the late Howard Johnson and Maudie Holcombe Johnson. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Lou is survived by her daughters, Susan Hancock, Beth Samson (Nick), Melinda Sherrill (Mike), son, Chuck Hancock, brother, Eugene Johnson (Peggy), grandchildren, Jessica Pervine, Scottie Smith, Preston Puckett, Christine Jenkins, Christopher Jenkins, Dillon Jenkins, and Mikey Sherrill.
