It is with sadness that the family of Sarah Jane Hunt announces her peaceful passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Sunday, September 12, 2021, age 80 years of English Harbour West.

Sarah leaves with many fond memories, her loving family: husband, Gordon Sr., married 58 years; sons, Linwood (Sharon), Gordon Dean and Derrick Davidge (Darlene), all at English Harbour West; grandchildren, Justin (Lisa), Jordan (Crystal), all at English Harbour West and Jennifer (Brandon) at Paradise; great grandchildren, Harper, Hope and Ruby; brother, Gordon Davidge (Thelma) at English Harbour West; sister, Barbara Vallis (Howard) at Dartmouth, NS; sister in law, Winnie Davidge; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Sarah is predeceased by her sister, Alice Hepditch; brothers, Thomas Davidge, Harold Davidge and Linwood Davidge; parents, William and Martha Davidge; nephew, Linwood Davidge; nieces, Darlene Davidge and Patti Lynn Vallis.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm from St. Thomas Anglican Church at English Harbour West with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, English Harbour West.
