Deidre "Dee" Wheeler
<p>Deidre Michelle “Dee” Wheeler, 51, of Stockwell, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born March 14, 1970, in Indianapolis, to Donna (Street) Mason. On July 2, 2021, she married Michael J. Wheeler in Lafayette.</p> <p>Dee attended Northwest High School in Indianapolis. She had worked for 22 years at Cowan Drugs in Lebanon as a Pharmacy Technician where she filled prescriptions for many nursing homes in the area. Dee had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed sky diving, roller coasters, and swimming. She always enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and bonus kids. Her favorite color was pink.</p> <p>Dee is survived by her husband, Michael of Stockwell; mother, Donna Mason of Pomona Park, FL; son, Timothy Lee (Nina Dones) Cope II of Frankfort daughter, Michelle (Russell) Turner of Fort Riley, KS; step son, Kasey Joe Wheeler; step daughter, Kali Dale Wheeler of Stockwell; brothers, Harold Lee Mason, Paul Wayne Mason, and Shane Christopher Mason of Indianapolis, and Shawn Patrick Mason of Lebanon; grandchildren, Brooklyn Evamae, Bryleigh Mason, Blakely Ellis, and Bristol Mary; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and special friends, Bret Davis and Rhonda Bromme.</p> <p>Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, until the start of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
