Marjorie Jane Conner

<p>Marjorie J. Conner, 91 of Nixa (formerly of Poplar Bluff,} passed away September 10, 2021, in Rogersville with her family at her side.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Marge was born July 10, 1930, to the late Lewis C. and Berniece J. (Montgomery) Bennett in Shook, Mo. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School and Bluff Business College. Marge owned and operated Conner Bookkeeping Service in Poplar Bluff for many years.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>On April 24, 1947, she married the late Luther J Conner. Luther preceded her in death on February 22, 2002. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Teresa J. Harris and a sister Judy A. Bennett. Marge is survived by three children, Rusty Conner of Ozark, Mo., Pat Bailey (Bill) of Poplar Bluff, and Terry (Corinne) Conner of Rogersville, MO., one sister Sue Petrovich of St. Louis, MO. Her grandchildren Kevin Rains of Ozark, MO, Allison Coach (Ed) of Signal Mt., TN., John and James Harris of Ozark, Mo., Christian (Sarah) Conner of Nixa, MO., and Seth (Laura) of Fort Myers, FL. Eleven great-grandchildren, Jackson Rains of Poplar Bluff, Ryan Coach of Signal Mt., TN, Malakai, Savannah, and Gabriel Harris of Ozark, Mo, Rowan, Caden, Cameron, and Decon Conner of Nixa, Mo., and Hudson and Haddie Conner of Fort Myers. FL.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Marge was a charter member of Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. She loved her God well by loving others well. Consequently, she was loved well by others.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 9:30 at Willow Ridge Funeral &amp; Cremation Services with the memorial service following at 11:00 with officiating by Pastor Byron Beck. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fellowship General Baptist Church.</p>
