Yvette Zandra Harrison Obituary

Yvette Zandra Harrison was born July 17, 1974 in Edmond to Terry Harrison and Cynthia Barnes.  She passed away September 11, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 47.

Yvette enjoyed cheer, tennis, dance, golf, band, and riding with her grandpa moving grass and irritating him.  She had a love for children causing her to get her education in special needs.  She then worked with daycare children and eventually taught special needs children.  She also taught as a substitute at Chandler.  She enjoyed getting under peoples’ skin irritating and agitating them.  She also volunteered at the Acts of Love food pantry and the Senior Citizens Program in Wellston.  She was a caretaker for Maria, her very close friend.

Yvette loved animals, especially dogs and bunnies.  She like cats a little but hated mice.  Anytime someone needed food, a place to stay or any other need, Yvette was the first to have her hand out to help.

Yvette was preceded in death by her parents, Terry Harrison and Cynthia Barnes; grandparents, Donald and Bertha Harrison; and her brother, Michael Harrison.  Survivors include her children, Ryan Lloyd of Del City, Austin Lloyd of California, Sara Harrison of the home; sisters, Cory, Donna, Darla, Kay; along with other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Wellston Christian Church with interment following in the Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond.  Kristen Donovan will officiate, and arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
