Martha P. Britten, 78, of Haslett, formerly of Lansing, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at A Family Affair AFC in Haslett.

She was born on April 16, 1943 to Burdette J. and May (Hands) Walker in Springport.

Martha graduated from Springport High School in 1962. She married Harold T. Britten on April 7, 1991 in Marshall and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2003.

Martha worked as a nurse’s aide after high school for several years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching wrestling on TV and being with her family and friends. Martha was a devoted Christian.

She is survived by her children; Vern (Barb) Branham of Cedar Springs, Tom (Christina) Branham of Alma, Tina Hansen of Cedar Springs and Teresa Branham of Tennessee, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephew Jon (Jeannie) Walker of Lansing and her niece Cathy (Chris) Phillips of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Harold, her brothers; Irving Walker and Merrit Walker and her sister; Edna Stone.

A graveside funeral service will take place on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Albion Memory Gardens 26905 B Dr. S Albion, Michigan 49224.
