The family is sad to announce the passing of William Grant "Bill" Miller of Crowley on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Oakdale Community Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Woodlawn Mausoleum. Bill was born in Crowley October 20, 1941. He graduated Crowley High School in 1957 where he participated and excelled in boxing. After graduating from high school, he attended S.L.I., which is now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. For many years Bill was the manager of Modern Music, one of the family businesses in Crowley, as well as other business interests. In his latter years, he was caretaker for his mother until her passing in 2010. His favorite past-time was discussing the news of the day as he made his "rounds" to visit his many friends. He will be missed by all. Bill is survived by three brothers, Michael Miller and his wife Diane; Jack Derrick Miller and his wife Nicole; and Mark Miller all of Crowley; one half-sister, Rikki Thibodeaux Jacobson and her husband Tony of Minneapolis, MN; six nieces and nephew; Michael Miller, II and his wife Cathy; Sarah M. Mitchel and her husband Parker; Jessica M. Broussard and her husband Eric, Hannah M. Miller; Malari M. Richard and her husband Arthur; and Amber M. Coates and her husband Jared; and numerous great-nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Jay D. and Georgia Sonnier Miller; and his godchild, Ashleigh Lorraine Miller.
