ROSEDALE-Charles Harold Taylor, II, 65, of Rosedale, Indiana passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He retired from Novelis with 20 years of service. He was born September 26, 1955 in Rosedale, Indiana to the late Charles Harold Taylor and Betty Louise Joslyn Taylor. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Tamra May Taylor whom he married July 9, 1977 in Prairieton; Also surviving, four children, Drew (Ann) Taylor of West Terre Haute, Keith (Caitlin) Taylor of Mooresville, Nichole (Patrick) Hodges of Rosedale and Alexis (Aaron) Keller of Rosedale; two sisters, Cathy (David) Barnhill of Evansville and Cindy (Dan) Vandevender of Montezuma; two aunts, Lee Joslyn of Kentucky and Virginia Vaughn of Arizona; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a 1973 graduate of Rosedale High School. He served with the U.S. Army from 1982-1992 and served in the Gulf War at Iraq. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 16 from 6-8 pm, with military honors conducted by American Legion Tony Kashon post 290 at 8:00 pm in Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 287 N. Main Street, Rosedale. The family will host a Celebration of Life Sunday, September 26 at the Florida Township Civic Center in Rosedale.
