Elizabeth “Beth” Ellen Shaw, 49, passed away September 6th, 2021 in Red Wing, Minnesota.

She was born February 15th, 1972 in Ida Grove, Iowa to Donald and Mary Shaw. Beth attended Atlantic High School and went on to receive a Bachelor’s of Arts in Russian Studies from Hamline University. She had a passion for traveling and often took her sisters, nieces, and nephews with her around the world. She was devoted to her work as a Senior User Experience Analyst at Thomson Reuters. Beth lived in Red Wing with her two cats, Finn and Lily, whom she loved dearly. She spent her spare time buying and fixing houses from the Victorian Era.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Shaw. She is survived by her mother, Mary Shaw, her siblings Kathy Martinson (Bruce), Carl Shaw (Sara), Connie Shaw, and Dan Shaw; her nieces and nephews Charlie (Maddie) Shaw, Paul Martinson, Anna Shaw, and Laurel Martinson; her numerous friends, cousins and aunts.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 10th, 2021 from 12:00-3:00pm on the 9th floor of the Downtown Plaza, in Red Wing, Minnesota.
