<p>John A. Pomer of Everett on September 11, 2021. Beloved husband of 65 &frac12; years to Jean (Varga) Pomer. Loving father of John &amp; Jeanne, Michael &amp; Joanne, Stephen &amp; Carolyn &amp; Vincent &amp; Tammy. Adored Grandfather John, Jessica, Vincent, Emily, Michael, Eric, Amanda, Nicholas, Lauren. Great-grandfather of Gianna &amp; Aubree. Brother of the late Lorraine Toomey &amp; Maryann Cook. John is also survived by many nieces,nephews &amp; good friends.&nbsp; Mr. Pomer was the City of Everett&rsquo;s plumbing inspector for 33 yrs. He attended Franklin Institute &amp; Salem State; he also taught at Lynn Vocational Technical School,North East Vocational School. Funeral from Salvatore Rocco &amp; Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Saturday, September&nbsp; 18 at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held in Immaculate Conception Church in Everett at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Complimentary valet parking Friday at Main Street entrance. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.&nbsp;</p>
