Obituary
Stewart C. Ritter, 61, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away, on September 12, 2021. He was born on May 18, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a son of Carroll S. and Ethel C. Adams Ritter. He married Marjorie Copes on September 20, 2008, she survives.
He was a graduate of Gateway High School in Monroeville, following high school graduation he joined the U.S. Marines where he served his country for 6 years. After his time served with the military he attended Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, he graduated from there in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Biology.
Stewart was the proud owner of his own franchise, Pillar to Post. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Colorado Springs, American Society of Home Inspectors, Safari Club International, and a frequent donor to Wounded Warriors and Homes for Hero's.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his family was his first priority with his wife being number one.
In addition to his loving wife, Marjorie, he is survived but his mother, Ethel; step-daughter, Christie Palermo and her husband, Justin; two grandchildren, Mia and Jack Palermo; two sisters, Mary Ann Burgess and her husband, Scott, and Janet Klendworth and her husband, Glen; two nieces, Lauren Cannon, and Kelly Klendworth; and a nephew, Bryan Klendworth.
Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Carroll, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ethel and William Copes; and a nephew, Daniel Burgess.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, September 20th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 am at the funeral home with full military honors to follow.
Burial will take place in Mount Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw, Pennsylvania.
