Wadsworth -- Blanche R. Holland, age 91, of Wadsworth, died Monday, September 13, 2021, at Altercare of Wadsworth, following a period of declining health. Blanche was born on July 4, 1930, in Woodsfield, Ohio, to the late Charles and Regina (Gray) Harper and graduated from Woodsfield Ohio High School in the class of 1947. She married Vernon "Ted" on December 6, 1948. Ted died on January 1, 1994. She worked as a homemaker for many years. Blanche was a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Creston. She enjoyed watching her Ohio sports teams including Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns. During the fall she would watch the Wadsworth High School football team on her TV. Surviving are two sons, Bruce (Diane) Holland of Bluffton, IN, Michael (Julia) Holland of Winnebago, IL; brother, Wayne Harper of Woodsfield, OH; and four grandsons, Jonathan, Joshua, Micah, and Nathan Holland. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Sharon Holland. Friends may call on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, with Pastor Ermal Allen officiating.
