<p>Jeffery Allen Olufson, age 67, of Hager City, WI died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Ellsworth Health Services. He was born April 12, 1954 in&nbsp;Minnesota; son of Merlin &ldquo;Buster&rdquo; and Leorra (Steinke) Olufson.</p> <p>He graduated from Mondovi High School in 1972. After graduation, Jeff traveled around the U.S. He then returned back to Wisconsin and worked various jobs.</p> <p>He married Dona Cook of Ellsworth, Wisconsin and together they had two children, Jonathan and Elizabeth. They later divorced.</p> <p>Jeff was an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing (especially walleyes). He was a great wild game cook and his nephews especially remember him for his&nbsp;black berry jelly.</p> <p>He is survived by his son, Jonathan Olufson of Hager City, WI , his daughter, Elizabeth Olufson of Portland, OR; sisters, Jennifer (Tom Atwood) Olufson of Bruce, WI, Victoria (Tony) Stone of Stephenville, TX, Teresa (John) Accola of Mondovi, WI, and Julie (Wade) Godfrey of Stephenville, TX; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Merlin &ldquo;Buster&rdquo; and Leorra (Steinke) Olufson.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Norden with Pastor Luke Pederson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home, Mondovi is assisting the family with arrangements.
