Christopher Mark Kegley, age 41, passed away Sunday September 12, 2021 at Avita Health System in Ontario, Ohio.

Born March 23 1980 in Mayport, Florida to Mark and Connie (Fritz) Kegley. He has been an Ontario resident for the past eight years, previously residing in Shelby. Christopher was a 1999 graduate of Shelby High School. He was employed with Pepperidge Farm for 15 years as a line mechanic. 

He was a member of the Dynasty Lanes Friday bowling league and enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean Islands. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loved spending time with his family, watching movies and sitting around a campfire relaxing. 

He is survived by his parents; three children Savannah, Evan, and Gavin Kegley of Shelby; stepchildren Hunter and Hannah Montgomery of Shelby; brother David Kegley of Loudonville; his best friend and longtime girlfriend Brittiny Underwood of Ontario; and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Virginia Fraley and Mervin Fritz; and his paternal grandparents Hollie and Diane Kegley. 

Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM, Pastor James Robinson will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. The family asks that those attending wear their favorite Ohio State Buckeye attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
