James Melvan Bailey 91 of Mobile Al. passed away on Sept. 11 2021 in Atmore Al.
Melvan was born in Sylacauga Al. to James L. and Betty L. Bailey on Nov. 2 1929. He went to Stewartville High School. After school got in to constructtion were he become a long time member of the Mobile Home Builders Association.
He is Proceeded in death by his wife of 62 years Margaret Bailey (Sugie) .
He is survived by his wife Mary Bailey his children Larry Melvan Bailey (Karen) Garry Wayne Bailey Cynthia Phelps (Wendell) step children Wanda Thornton (Darrell)Sandra Lambeth,Michael Lambeth(Toni) Randy Lambeth (Virginia) Joey Lambeth. Many , grandchildren and great grandchildren nieces nephews and other relatives and a multitude of friends
Funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Sept. 15 ,2021 9am. to 10am. and Chapel service following with Rev.Tim Poates of Haverwood Baptist Church with Grave side following.
