Allan "DC" R Olsen
<p>Allan “DC” Olsen, 69, of Spring Hill, Florida, formerly of Tofte, died June 28, 2021 from complications of PSP-Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.</p> <p>Allan was born September 6, 1951 to Dale and Betty (Bogenholm) Olsen in Duluth, grew up in Tofte, and graduated from Cook County High School in 1969. Attending UMD, he joined the U. S. Air Force ROTC, and after finishing his degree, entered the Air Force where he served as a pilot. DC retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after twenty two years of service. After retiring he returned to Tofte, later moving to Florida.</p> <p>DC was preceded in death by his parents,</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sue; sons, Garrick (Lisa) Olsen, Kris (Katie) Olsen; grandchildren, Caitlin, Andrew, Hadley, and Lainey; brothers, Gary (Nancy) Olsen, and Kelly (Janine) Olsen; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Visitation will be on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Zoar Lutheran Church in Tofte, from 1 PM until 2 PM. A graveside service with military honors will follow at Tofte Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zoar Lutheran Church. </p>September 6, 1951 - June 28, 202109/06/195106/28/2021
