Greenville, SC Mr. Robert Lee Simpson Sr., 77, Greenville, passed on Friday September 10, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. He was a son of the late Leroy Chaney and Viola Simpson Pearson. Surviving: Cheryl (Landis)Harrison and Tonya (Freddie) Simpson, both of Greenville, SC; two sons, Rev. Robert Lee Simpson, Jr. of Mauldin, SC and French Gerald Simpson of Greenville, SC; one sister, Nola Pearson of Miami, FL; eight brothers, Sidney Simpson and Herbert Pearson, both of Miami, FL; Halbert Pearson, Luther McNeil, Lewis McNeil, Charles McNeil and Theodore McNeil, all of Greenville, SC and Johnny McNeil of Texas; thirteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Saturday, September 18, 2021, 2:00 pm, at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
