Stella G. Clark

Stella G. Clark 90, of Bedford, died Sunday September 12, 2021 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on May 4, 1931 in Harrison Township a daughter of the late Samuel C. and Grace (Hillegass) Crissey.  On June 20, 1953 in Manns Choice, she married Edmund “Bud” Clark who preceded her in death on October 22, 2006.  She is survived by a granddaughter Kerry Miller and boyfriend Alex Hann, of Bedford; a great-grandson Brayden Miller; and a sister Pauline Brown, of Lancaster.  She was preceded in death by a daughter Yvonne M. Hillegass; a granddaughter Kristy Feather; two brothers: Earl and Fred Crissey; a sister Pearl Turner, and a half-sister Winiford Weaver. 

Stella was a graduate of Schellsburg-Napier High School class of 1950, and she owned Kiddie Kin Kid’s Shop in Bedford for many years.  She was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church, and was very active with the United Methodist Women holding several offices.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Jim Miller officiating.  Burial will be private.  Friends will be received on Friday, from 11:00 a.m., until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
