Michael Jerald Fillingim, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at his home.  He was 61 years old.  Michael loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.  Most of all, Michael loved spending time with his family and friends.  Michael was a retired truck driver, and was a school bus driver for Mobile County Public Schools.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Tommy Ruth Fillingim; and brother, David Lamar Fillingim.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 7 years, Connie Fillingim; children, Jeremy Fillingim and Joshua Fillingim; four step children; seven step grandchildren; siblings, Kathy Smith (Cecil) and James Fillingim (Charlotte); father, Huey Fillingim; and other relatives and friends.  The family will receive friends from 2pm until 3pm Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow in Satsuma Cemetery.  Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com.  Freeman Funeral Home - Citronelle, Alabama
