<p><em><span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Frances Ruth Magiera, 73, of Millersville, passed away on September 9, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. Fran was born in Bristol, Tennessee, to the late Etta and Guy Miller, Jr.&nbsp; She earned her Master&rsquo;s Degree in Education while working as Assistant Principal at South River High School.&nbsp; Fran developed the South River STEM program recognized by the Maryland State Department of Education as a model program state-wide.&nbsp; She &nbsp;enjoyed country music, cheering on the Orioles (especially Cal Ripken, Jr.) and Miller family reunions.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fran is survived by her devoted husband, John A. Magiera; her beloved children, Tammi Parkent and Chris Mullineaux; her dear step-children, Keldie Torrington and Elizabeth Curley; and her cherished grandchildren, Kyle Greim, Peter Mullineaux, and Quinn Curley.&nbsp;</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral &amp; Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Friday, September 17th, from 2-4 &amp; 6-8 PM.&nbsp; <strong>Masks are required for all visitors and there will be a limit of 40 people at one time in the funeral home.</strong>&nbsp;A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, 10 AM, at Glen Burnie Baptist Church,7524 Old Stage Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.&nbsp; Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.&nbsp;</span></span></em></p>

Obituary

Frances Ruth Magiera, 73, of Millersville, passed away on September 9, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.      Fran is survived by her devoted husband, John A. Magiera; her beloved children, Tammi Parkent and Chris Mullineaux; her dear step-children, Keldie Torrington and Elizabeth Curley; and her cherished grandchildren, Kyle Greim, Peter Mullineaux, and Quinn Curley.
