<p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Mattie Tolliver Bond, age 80 of Troy, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born April 12, 1941 in Neon, KY to the late Charles and Mary Tolliver.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Those left to cherish Mattie&rsquo;s memory include her loving husband of 56 years William Bond; her children, Jeff Bond (Cerytine) of Troy and Tracy Bowers (Kevin) of Bellbrook; grandchildren, Courtney, Amber, Christopher, Trevor, and Kate; and her brother Dr. Denver Tolliver of Fargo, ND.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Mattie was a member of Oakcreek Church of Christ in Kettering for over 40 years. She attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton and went on the work there for ten years as an administrative aide. Mattie was a gifted seamstress and had a knack for crafts. She also enjoyed playing cards and ballroom dancing with her husband, William. Most importantly, Mattie loved and cherished her family. She was a kind, patient soul and her children and husband considered her the best mom and wife in the world and will be greatly missed by them.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>A funeral service will be held 6:00PM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Derrick Rash&nbsp;officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p>

Mattie Tolliver Bond, age 80 of Troy, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born April 12, 1941 in Neon, KY to the late Charles and Mary Tolliver.

Those left to cherish Mattie’s memory include her loving husband of 56 years William Bond; her children, Jeff Bond (Cerytine) of Troy and Tracy Bowers (Kevin) of Bellbrook; grandchildren, Courtney, Amber, Christopher, Trevor, and Kate; and her brother Dr. Denver Tolliver of Fargo, ND.

A funeral service will be held 6:00PM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Derrick Rash officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
