Phelps, Charles F. DeWeaver age 85, died on Friday September 10, 2021 at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services and burial in Resthaven Cemetery will be private for the family. It is requested that memorial donations be made in memory of Charles to Parkinson’s Foundation 1359 Broadway Suite 1509 New York, NY 10018 or visit Parkinson.org Charles was born on March 4, 1936 in Geneva, NY the son of the late Frank DeWeaver and Mary Yaskow DeWeaver DePauw and Step dad Frank DePauw. He was a member of the National Guard. Charles was a leader in the Cub Scouts, Webelos and Boy Scouts. He was an active member of the United Church of Phelps and was on all committees including the church treasurer for 20 years. Charles retired as the accountant for Newcomb Oil Company in Pittsford. Charles loved spending time with family. He enjoyed going to the circus and building model railroad trains. He was an Avid Bills fan and loved SU Basketball and football. He also enjoyed NASCAR.
