<p>A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Madeline Yvette Mamer, 61, who passed on Saturday, September 11, 2021. &nbsp;Deacon Art Bakeler will officiate the service.&nbsp; Interment will be held at a later date.</p> <p>Visitation hours will be observed at Walters Funeral Home on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service&nbsp;at 11:00 a.m.</p> <p>Yvette is survived by two sons, Daniel Broussard and Adam Broussard of Broussard, LA;&nbsp; one sister, Estelle Ledet of Lafayette, LA;&nbsp; one brother, David Mamer of Lafayette, LA;&nbsp; eight nieces and nephews, Jeremy Ledet, Nicholas Ledet, Monique Ledet, Claire Broussard, Danielle Ledet, Jacques Hebert, Emily Hebert, and Madeleine Hebert;&nbsp; and her uncle, Charles Mamer of Carencro, LA.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Paul Mamer;&nbsp; and one sister, Renee Mamer Hebert.</p> <p>Yvette was considered to be a very hard worker, and was a great mother to her two sons.</p> <p>Walters Funeral Home, (337) 706-8941, 2424 North University Avenue in Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Yvette took excellent care of our mom especially in her later years. She was always there for her nieces and nephews whenever they needed. She was truly an awesome mom, daughter, aunt and sister. Her loss will be forever felt. May you be at peace. Yvette
