<p>Funeral services for Jonathan Taylor McManus, age 29, of Wedowee will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Gold Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, September 13, 2021.</p><p><br></p><p>Taylor passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Georgia.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include his mother, Sabrina McManus Lovvorn of Wedowee; his father, Dale Morrison of Newell; paternal grandmother, Helen Morrison of Newell; brother, Tyler Lovvorn (Paige) of Wedowee; nephew, Daniel Jones; aunt, Tina Kilgore of Wedowee; and uncle, Michael McManus of Wedowee.</p><p><br></p><p>Pallbearers will be Daniel Jones, Derek Whaley, Edward Whaley, Austin Coleman, Robbie McManus, and Jeff Skinner. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Smith, Gerry McManus, Matt Shelton, Anthony Higgins and Tyler Lovvorn.</p><p><br></p><p>A Randolph County native, Taylor was born on October 17, 1991, the son of Dale Morrison and Sabrina McManus Lovvorn. He was a member of Penfield Christian Church and worked building cargo trailers for Freedom Trailers in Tifton, Georgia. Taylor served in the Alabama National Guard. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Wayne and Shirley Ann McManus and Clarence “Babe” Morrison and uncles, Billy Wayne McManus, Randy Wallace McManus, and Mark Anthony McManus.</p>
