Carolyn Clarke Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador Obituary

Carolyn Clarke

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carolyn Clarke announce her passing after a brave battle with cancer. Carolyn passed away at the age of 57 on September 10th, 2021 surrounded by family at James Paton Memorial Hospital. Left to mourn, but comforted with fond memories, are her common law spouse Albert Noseworthy; her daughters, Julie Blake and Christine Noseworthy; her son, Terry Noseworthy; her brothers, Bruce and David (Stephanie) Clarke; her sisters Joan (George) Michelau and Elizabeth (Russell) Goodyear; her grandson Roman Blake as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and fur family members. Carolyn was predeceased by her mother and father, Gertie and William Clarke, and her beloved fur baby Drew. While Carolyn was shy, she was an integral part of the lives of those lucky enough to share those lives with her as she provided endless support, listening intently to any complaints while herself making few and asking for little in return. Carolyn loved her family, painting, crocheting and was a friend to all animals, most notably her own fur family members. As per Carolyn's wishes, cremation has take place. Visitation will be held at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 from 10am-6pm and is open to the public. Unfortunately due to the ongoing global pandemic the service to celebrate Carolyn’s life taking place on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Fraser Road United Church and will be by invitation only. The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations made directly to the Canadian Lymphedema Framework (https://canadalymph.ca/)

So sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. I remember her from high school and think of her every year as I hang my "lightbulb" ornaments on our tree. She was a sweet and gentle lady. Condolences to the her family and friends.
