<p>South Bend - Elsie Proctor, 95, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021.</p> <p>Elsie was born in 1925, in South Bend to John and Katherina Keglovich. She was a lifetime resident, graduated from Riley High School and attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Proctor in 2011, brother Frank Keglovich, and sisters Elma Valvo and Kathryn Schultz.</p> <p>She is survived by three sons Brent (Melba) Proctor, James (Eloise) Proctor, Alan Proctor, three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>She was especially proud of having been a legal secretary for Attorney F. Jay Nimtz for whom the Nimtz Parkway is named. She was a longtime realtor with Portage Reality.</p> <p>Elsie led a very active life, loved to golf, travel, and participated in many clubs and their activities.</p> <p>She was a great mom.</p> <p>Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 noon followed by a brief Catholic service on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN 46628. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. </p> <p>In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church, Humane Society of St. Joseph County or a charity of choice.
