With many having mixed emotions and understandably broken hearts, the Majestic Family has been given the solemn duty to serve notice that Mrs. JoAnn L. Hester closed the curtains of this life on September 11, 2021 at her residence in Elizabethtown, NC.

Precious moments have been set aside by this devoted family on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 between the hours of 2pm and 3pm in the main Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather to embrace each other as the healing process begins, while reflecting on everlasting memories of Mrs. Hester. Beginning at 3:30pm on the same day, A Graveside Service will take place in Bladen Memorial Gardens in Bladenboro, NC.

A rich legacy filled with loving memories will be forever cherished by her son: Ryan Hester; sister-in-laws: Ruby Edwards, Lula Mae Edwards and Mary Hester; special friends: Robin and Tap Tapao, Ronald Walts, Pam Nye and a host of other relatives and friends.
