CARLSON: Kenneth (Ken)

The death of Ken Carlson, aged 91 years, of Watrous, SK occurred peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Watrous District Health Complex.
Ken was born on the family farm near Venn on May 7th, 1930. He was born to Raymond and Ada Carlson and was the oldest of eleven siblings. He is survived by his loving wife Joan (Miller) of 67 years; children Melvin, Garnet (Laurie), Beverly (Michael) and Joanne (Randy); grandchildren Darren (Kristin), Lorna (Alex), Lesley (Michael), Teresa (Jeff), Michelle (Derek), and Kensey; great-grandchildren Tanner, Jace, Ava, Tess, Isaiah, Elena, Zachary, Cameron, Nixon, Mayson, and Hailey.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Raymond and Ada Carlson, mother and father-in-law Ernie and Helen Miller, siblings: Richard, Robbie, Glen, Ross, Tricia, and Sandra, brother in-laws: Lou and Vic, grandson Collin, and great-grandson Kayden; in-laws Bob and Elaine Mark and Ted and Jean Bascom.
Ken lived a well-rounded life filled with family and friends. He was a kind-hearted man who treated everyone equally.
A Memorial Service will be held at Watrous United Church, Watrous, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jo-Ann Hills officiating.
