William Curtis Roebuck

Mr. William Curtis Roebuck, 75, went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Friday, September 10, 2021. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel, followed by a burial in Pinewood Memorial Park. William, born in Martin County, was the son of the late Curtis and Magdalene Roebuck. Living most of his life in Pitt County, William dedicated 45 years of employment and hard work to Burroughs Wellcome before retiring in 2016. In his free time, he loved to fish and was a member of Gum Swamp Free Will Baptist Church, In addition to his late parents, William was preceded in death by brother, Rev. James Roebuck; sister, Mary Bunting; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Cayton. He is loved and survived by his wife of 56 years, Faye Roebuck; daughter, Amy Jones and husband, David; sons, Chris Roebuck and wife, Heather and Keith Roebuck and wife, Tonya; sisters, Betty Harris and husband, Bobby and Judy Dail; grandchildren, Megan Powell and fiancé, Taylor Peaden, McKenna Roebuck, Haven Roebuck, Ryan Haddock and wife, Jodi, Landon Haddock, Kaylee Manning and companion, Nathan Parrish, Mason Jones, and Aubrey Jones; and great-grandchildren, Reagan Powell, Justin Powell, Tucker Peaden, and Waylon Haddock.
