Douglas H. Huber

Douglas H. Huber, 90 of Bennington, passed away at Unity Hospital in Rochester, on September 9, 2021. He was born on April 24, 1931 in Batavia, to the late Joseph and Caroline (Straub) Huber. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann “Boots” (Carnevale) Huber, brother Ronald Huber and sister Janice (Norwood) Bohn. Mr. Huber was a lifelong Dairy Farmer, working alongside his sons and was even raking hay last week. He was the chairman of the Bennington Town Planning Board for 20 years. Mr. Huber was an avid golfer that enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and playing cards. Mr. Huber is survived by his sons, Keith (Leslie) Huber, Kenneth (Debbie) Huber both of Bennington, sister-in-law, Diana Huber of Alden, three grandsons, Bradley, Matthew and Kevin Huber, along with several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 1 to 4 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. An 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 (please note these dates are a week apart) at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 1230 Clinton St., Attica, NY 14011. He will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bennington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bennington Fire Company, 1353 NY-354, Attica, NY 14011.
