William A. Hart Obituary

William A. “Bill” Hart, 68, of Ashland, passed away September 2, 2021, at Life Care Hospice in Wooster, Ohio.

Bill was born in Ashland on February 1, 1953, to the late William E. and Roberta A. (Whitcomb) Hart.

He was a resident of Ashland County his entire life and was a graduate of Hillsdale High School.

Bill served his country as a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a long-haul truck driver for many years before his retirement.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking drives in the country to Charles Mill Lake and the family farm in Jeromesville.

Bill is survived by his three children, Ashlee (Ryan) Hernandez of Wylie, TX., Sam Gariepy and Alex Hart both of Kettle Falls, WA; 6 grandchildren, Barett, Keoni, Kalani, Malayna, Haylee & Bella; his brother, Jerry E. “Redski” Hart of Ashland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Steven D. Hart.

Graveside Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh officiating. There will be no calling hours. The Ashland Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors at the cemetery.
