Alma Courville Vaughn

St. Martinville - A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 13, 2021, at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville for Alma Courville Vaughn, 78, who passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Msgr. Robert J. Romero will officiate. A native and lifelong area resident, Mrs. Vaughn was born on December 23, 1945 to the late Odeulan and Amelia Doucet Courville. She loved spending time with her family especially during the holidays and special occasions. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Latiolais Dozier (Charles) of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Melanie Griffin of New Iberia; son, David Latiolais (Diane) of Nashville, Tennessee; stepsons, Marvin Vaughn of Baton Rouge, and Steve Vaughn (Melissa) of Dallas, Texas; brother, Rawleigh Bourque of St. Martinville; sister, Dale Poirrier of New Iberia; ten grandchildren, Marcus Rodrigue, Courtney Blair, Chase Latiolais, Macy Griffin, Danna Latiolais, Catina Vaughn, Chad Vaughn, Christine Vaughn, Ian Vaughn, and Tiffany Vaughn; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Vaughn; brothers, Donald Bourque, and Dr. Lawless Bourque; sisters, Beverly Bourque, and Emeline Bourque.
