CORDELE – Leon W. Huey, 75, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at his home. Memorial services will be held at a later date at his home. Mr. Huey was born in Cordele, Georgia to the late William Clarence Huey and the late Maggie Lucile Musselwhite Huey. He is preceded in death by a brother and sister, Harold Huey and Annette Goddard. He was a retired waste disposal truck driver. He served his country valiantly in the United States Army for 10 years in Germany.
