Iris Ann Hurd Langhorne, 82, of Advance, NC, passed away Thursday afternoon, September 9, 2021, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice in Winston-Salem. Per her request, there will be no formal services. Iris was born February 3, 1939 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Henry Cornelius Hurd, Sr. and Claudie Mae Lester Hurd. She was a retired office manager for an Endodontist’s office. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Edmund “Ned” G. Langhorne, III of the home; her brother, Henry “Chip” C. Hurd, Jr. of Stoneville; sister, Linda Sue Hurd of Stoneville; along with her niece, Megan Bullins of Madison and nephew, Henry “Tripp” C. Hurd, III of Greensboro.
