Robin Adele Hale
Robin Adele Hale, 73, of Crawford, slipped gently into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. She passed in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loving family, and under the compassionate care of WV Hospice. Robin was born in Fairmont on March 30, 1948, a daughter of the late Jack Dalton Rowe and Willie Kay Roop Rowe. As an early birthday present, Robin married Leslie Joe Hale on March 28, 1983. She has missed him every day since his passing on June 5, 2016, but they have now been reunited to share eternity. In addition to her parents and husband, Robin was preceded in death by one daughter, Robin Antoinette Hinchman; and one sister, Leslie Kay Rowe. Forever cherishing their memories of Robin are four children: Joseph Shaun Hale and wife, Ellen, of Coal City, WV, James Bernard Hale and wife, Julie Potter, of Crab Orchard, WV, Barbara Kaye James Trotter of Crawford, WV, and Rebecca Lashmit and husband, Donnie, of Crawford, WV; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Jack Rowe II and wife, Marilyn, of Pennsylvania; two sisters: Jeannie Harris of Pennsylvania, and Kim Barton and husband, Pat, of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. Robin graduated from Fairmont West High School and was Christian by faith. She was a miner in Beckley and a secretary/treasurer for Joe’s Garage in Crab Orchard, WV. She enjoyed mowing grass, painting, and running heavy equipment, especially an excavator. Robin’s request for Cremation with no services has been honored.
