VICTOR HREBENIUK JR., THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED THAT ALL THE ATTENDEES PLEASE WEAR MASKS, AND TAKE APPROPRIATE SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS.***** Victor Hrebeniuk Jr. of Garfield, entered eternal life on Thursday, September 9th, 2021, he was 44. Victor was born in Passaic, NJ on August 6th, 1977, to Margaret Voloshin and Victor Hrebeniuk Sr. He was raised in Wallington, and moved to Garfield, after marrying his beloved wife Tracy Benanti on June 30th, 2002 at Holy Trinity Church in Garfield. In 1994 Victor began what would turn out to be the fulfillment of a lifelong passion, cooking. He started working as a young dishwasher at Charlie Blood's on Frederick Street in Garfield, and over time he became their Executive Chef. He also worked for the Garfield Board of Education as a traveling Computer Technician. The most important part of Victor's life was his family, his beloved wife Tracy, his loving daughter Madison and his loving son Derik. His family says that his hobbies were cooking, gardening, enjoying a fine cigar, woodworking and making his famous homemade barbecue sauce. His family also said that he was famous for saying, "Just Un-Plug it, and then Plug it back in", when something wasn't working. Victor is also survived by his parents, Victor Hrebeniuk Sr., his mother Margaret Voloshin, his mother and father in law Sal and Karen Benanti, his dear grandmother Maria Hrebeniuk, sisters in law Jodi and husband Todd Hughes, Sally and husband Jason Bulger, aunts and uncles, Lisa and Jim Jamie and family, Pete and Paula Voloshin and family, (Richard Voloshin who is predeceased) and his family, Boris and Theresa Hrebenuyuk and family (predeceased by their son Erik), as well as many nieces and nephews. Victor was also predeceased by his beloved brother John Hrebeniuk. Visiting 2 - 4 pm, and 7 - 9 pm, Monday, September 13th, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. Victor will be laid to rest at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, where a graveside funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, September 14th, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue Clifton, New Jersey 07014. The family has requested contributions to Tracy Hrebeniuk, in lieu of flowers. All contributions will honor Victor's memory by funding Madison and Derik Hrebeniuk's future educational aspirations. www.WarnerAndWozniak.com
