MCDOUGALL, CATHERINE MARY Catherine “Kathy” Mary McDougall passed away on Wed, September 8, 2021 at the Hospice House in Fredericton. Born on March 24, 1941 in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Cable) McDougall. Kathy worked in many different roles throughout her work life and her last position was as a server at Fred’s Pancake House. She loved to spend time with her family and know about the events of their lives. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Joanne Morrissey (Blayne) of Fredericton, Suzanne Cloutier of Ottawa, ON, and Angella Fudge (Bill) of Kingston, ON; son, Michael Cloutier (Kathy Forbes-Cloutier) of Fredericton and daughter in law, Susan Cloutier of Fredericton, NB. Also, her sisters, Margie Francis now living in British Columbia; Gertrude (Gert) Greer of Fredericton, NB and her best friend/soulmate, Ellen Dewitt of Fredericton, NB. She was blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also has several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and sons Daniel and Steven Cloutier. Kathy had several health-related challenges but she always treated others with kindness and respect. She was passionate about her faith and invested time in praying for the people she loved. One of her favorite life quotes, “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always.” She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Kathy donated her body to medical science at Dalhousie University for the purpose of training future medical students and for valuable research. By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. An interment will take place at a later date. The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr Sheldon Wood, the staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and Hospice House Fredericton for the amazing care they provided. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice House Fredericton or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
