Ms. Catherine Wilson Hanley, 76 of Memphis, TN passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a retired High School French teacher and active member of Christ United Methodist Church. She attended Memphis State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Blessed with a beautiful voice, she was also a member of the Memphis Symphony Chorus. Ms. Hanley was preceded in death by her precious son, Benjamin Wilson Hanley of Irving, Texas. She leaves behind her two devoted sisters, Connie Manuel of Germantown, Tennessee and Vivian Murchison of Cordova, Tennessee. Services for Ms. Hanley will be private. Memorial Contributions may be made in Catherine’s name to Christ United Methodist Church, Music Department for Traditional Service.
