<p>Howard Grant Kerber, 65, of Carbondale, died Monday September 6th at Geisinger CMC, Scranton.&nbsp; He is survived by his wife, the former Rosemarie Mosher.</p> <p>Born in Richmondville, NY, son of the late Howard and Patricia Kenyon Kerber. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a stock clerk at Weis Market, Carbondale.&nbsp; Howard was a simple, basic man.&nbsp; He loved his family and spending time with his grandkids.&nbsp; He loved watching Westerns on television.&nbsp; His favorite place was Siskos Caf&eacute;, where he enjoyed visiting with friends whom he considered family.</p> <p>Also surviving are two daughters: Tara Bacon and husband Alec; Jessica Kerber; a son: Timothy Kerber; numerous grandchildren; a sister: Susan Palmer and husband Richie; a brother: Ricky Kerber; a step-mother: Frankie Kerber; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>As per his request, funeral services will be private.&nbsp; Arrangements by the Brennan &amp; Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale.</p>

Howard Grant Kerber, 65, of Carbondale, died Monday September 6th at Geisinger CMC, Scranton.  He is survived by his wife, the former Rosemarie Mosher.

Born in Richmondville, NY, son of the late Howard and Patricia Kenyon Kerber. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a stock clerk at Weis Market, Carbondale.  Howard was a simple, basic man.  He loved his family and spending time with his grandkids.  He loved watching Westerns on television.  His favorite place was Siskos Café, where he enjoyed visiting with friends whom he considered family.

Also surviving are two daughters: Tara Bacon and husband Alec; Jessica Kerber; a son: Timothy Kerber; numerous grandchildren; a sister: Susan Palmer and husband Richie; a brother: Ricky Kerber; a step-mother: Frankie Kerber; and several nieces and nephews.

As per his request, funeral services will be private.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale.
