Donald B. Tingley

Lakewood – Donald B. Tingley, 70, died Thursday, September 2, 2021 at home surrounded by his devoted family. Born in Summit to the late Donald R. and Betty Jane Tingley, Don resided in Westfield then settling to South Plainfield for almost 60 years. Don retired from Keystone Community Living then relocated to Lakewood in 2015. In his younger years, Donnie enjoyed bowling, camping and traveling. He was a kind, easy going person who also enjoyed playing computer games with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Donna (Savidge) Tingley and her two children, Sheri Goodman and husband Jason, Kevin Krzykwa and wife Kristen, two siblings, William Tingley and wife Linda, Susan Hageman and husband B.J. He will also be missed by his four grandchildren, Zachary, Aiden, Kevin and Kyle, and three nieces Sara, Claire and Grace. Donations in Don’s memory may be sent to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 South East First Street, Suite 800, Miami, Fl. 33130. Funeral services are private and under the direction of the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, South Plainfield.

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I have fond memories of singing barbershop with Don as a Jade in South Plainfield High School. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I just heard of Dons passing. I remember him fondly from SPHS chorus. Don was such a kind guy who always had a hugh smile. When the time comes, we will be singing those classic Jades songs like Coney Island Baby and Hello My Baby in our Heavenly Choir. Rest In Peace old ... Continue Reading
