Obituary

Cheryl Combs, resident of Eldon, Missouri, left us to be with her savior, Jesus, on September 8, 2021, at the age of 71.  Cheryl was born to Virginia and Buell McCubbin in El Paso, Texas on August 22, 1950.  A stay-at-home wife and homeschool mom, Cheryl brought laughter, joy, and light into the life of every person she met.  After her husband retired from the Air Force, they settled in Eldon, Missouri, her former home town.  There, she became a school teacher for 10 years.  She was amazing at turning every day items into creative works of beauty.  Her gifts of love made the world a better place.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 49 years, Terry Combs; her son, Samuel Combs; her daughter, Mariah Combs Luebbering, and her sister Carol Carlson.  We all feel blessed for the time God allowed us to have with the most amazing wife, mother, sister, and friend.
