Michael Thomas Piechocki
Michael T. Piechocki Jr., 71, Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, peacefully with his family by his side, in Firelands Regional Medical Center. He was born in Marblehead, OH on February 4, 1950 to the late Michael T. and Marcella (Sauvefy) Piechocki Sr. and graduated from Danbury High School. He was employed by New Departure Hyatt for 38 years retiring in 2004 and also for Sandusky Transit as a driver. Michael was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, he loved to golf, watch sports, the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and The Ohio State Buckeyes, playing cards, and spending time with his family especially the grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Judy (Johnson) Piechocki; children, Corie (Ben Goodin) Lange, Lima, OH, Joe (Kellie) Teeple, Richard (Nancy) Adams, and Brian (Traci) Adams all of Sandusky, and Glen (Drema) Teeple, Florida; grandchildren, Chase Woods, Jarrett Lange, Tyler Lange, Brandon Turner, Angelina Stevens, Scott Stevens, Joseph Teeple, Jaiden Teeple, Jared Teeple, Jennifer Teeple, Derek Teeple, Dylan Teeple, Krista Teeple, Abigayle Adams, Amanda Lipinski, Cameron Adams, Caleb Adams, Colby Adams, and Cooper Adams; sister, Renee Uhinck, Marblehead, OH; brothers, Jerome (Janie) Piechocki and Joseph Piechocki both of Marblehead, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Yvonne Myers. Friends may call on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 4-7 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Prayer services will be held Monday at 9:30 A.M. in the funeral home, followed by a 10 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Zach Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church.
