Glenda Diehl
On Sunday September 5, 2021, Glenda G. Diehl passed from this life to her heavenly home with Jesus. She and her husband were born in western Pennsylvania and were currently living in the North Meridian Senior Housing in South Burlington, VT. She leaves behind her husband David and three children Nancy, living in Essex Junction, David, living in New Castle, Delaware and Larry, living in Bangor, Maine.<br/><br/>Glenda spent the first part of her working career as a teacher of home Economics in high school and the rest of her adult life as a loving mother and homemaker. She loved to bake and was an excellent seamstress. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing in the church choir. <br/><br/>Glenda was devoted to her family and was generous in reaching out to people. She especially enjoyed hanging freshly baked cookies on the door knobs of residents in her building. <br/><br/>A viewing will be held at Essex Alliance Church, 37 Old Stage Road, Essex Junction, VT on 9/13/2021 2 PM to 4 PM.
