<p>Mrs. Mabel Victoria Treadaway, age 82 of Moravian Falls, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, September 13, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Church and Rev. Tom Vannoy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.</p> <p>Mrs. Parsons was born September 7, 1939 in Wilkes County to James and Della Marlow Treadaway. She loved the Lord and was a devoted member of New Hope Baptist Church on the Brushies.&nbsp; She retired after 30 years of service from American Drew.&nbsp; She was a Foster Grandparent for 18 years.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Treadaway.</p> <p>Mrs. Parsons is survived by one daughter, Karen Parsons of North Wilkesboro; one son Tim Parsons and wife, Peggy of Hays; three grandchildren, Chris Parsons, Ashley Bridges, and husband, Adam, Scottie Junior Holloway; two great grandchildren, Addison Bridges and Ashton Bridges; two sisters, Clara Love of Granite Falls and Georgia Minton of Wilkesboro; and three brothers, David Treadaway and wife Estelle, Paul Treadaway and wife Shirley; Charles Treadaway all of Moravian Falls; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN&nbsp; 38105.</p> <p>Online condolences may be made at www.reinssturdivant.com.</p>

Dear Family, I am Bonnie Marlow Coxs daughter. My grandfather was Hobart Marlow, Dellas brother. My mom loved getting to see her cousin Mabel on occasion thru working with the foster grandparents program. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
