Ms. Troy Louise Rhinehardt, 105, of 226 E. Turner Street, passed away on Friday, September 10. 2021, at Autumn Care, Statesville. Ms. Rhinehardt was born in Rowan County on July 16, 1916, and was the daughter of the late Laura and Casey Rhinehardt.

She attended Rowan County Schools. She worked as a domestic worker at private homes. She also worked for the Garrison family and their children referred to her as an adopted mom.

She leaves behind family whom she helped raise, Robert C. (Sally) Garrison “Bobby” of Statesville, Laura (John) LaFaur “Sissy” of Nashville, TN and Eddie Garrison (Rene) Jones of Nashville, TN; a niece, Sadie Rousseau of Charlotte; nephews, Odis (Linda) Rousseau of Statesville and Alan (Linda) Rousseau of Charlotte; great nieces, Yvonne (Randy) Still of Summersville, SC and Cynthia (Freddie) Webb of Greensboro; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Monday, September 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Reverend Timothy Bates will officiate and burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.
