RAVENNA

Sharon Rose Campano, 75 years of age, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at UH-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. Born in Toronto, Canada on December 4, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Elnora (Larson) Parent. A resident of Ravenna for over 50 years, Mrs. Campano had been employed at Automation Plastics in Aurora for 11 years, following which she worked as a cashier at Wal Mart in Streetsboro, retiring in 2014 after 10 years of service. She and her husband were faithful members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua. Sharon truly enjoyed swimming in her pool at home, and traveling all of the United States with Terry creating lasting memories that will always be cherished. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, as she prepared for the holiday season by decorating every room of the home in detail, bringing joy and pleasure to all of her family. While a “beautiful, loving, rose has passed, her love for family, and their love for her will remain forever. On May 24, 1969, Sharon married her beloved husband Terry Campano, who survives at home. She also is survived by her devoted daughter Nicole (Rob) White of Gassaway, West Virginia; her dear siblings, Roger Parent and Elaine (Claude-deceased) McCloskey, both of Toronto, Canada, Lucille (Dennis) Rafter of Virginia; loving grandchildren, Dallas White and Justin Blankenship, and sister-in-law Elsie Parent of Toronto. She also leaves her 4-legged child “Shore”, and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Her dear brother Keith Parent preceded her in death. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt.44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.(Family Requests Facial Coverings Be Observed). Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 11045 St. Joseph Blvd., Mantua, OH 44255. (Facial Coverings Are Required At Church). EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Officiating will be Rev. Edward Stafford. Final resting place will then follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville Twp., Ohio.
