Huntington Beach, CA -Denis M. McLaughlin, a resident of Huntington Beach, California, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2021. Denis was born on December 18, 1957 in the Bronx, NY. He then moved to the great neighborhood of Brett View Acres in East Fishkill NY with his family when he was 5 years old. After graduation from John Jay High School, he moved to southern California where he realized he didn’t want to live somewhere that the sun didn’t shine most of the days and where his surfboard could only be a wall decoration. He pursued a career in financial and real estate investments and was very excited about BitCoin. He is survived by his father Denis H. McLaughlin; spouse Leslie; children, Brian, Brandon (Vanessa), Brittany (Alex), Catherine, James, Megan; sisters, Brenda (Danny) and Suzanne; five grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Sarah McLaughlin and sister Gean Elizabeth McLaughlin. Denis lived an active and full life with his family and friends. He embraced life’s ups and downs, all with a smile on his face and always had the ability to make the best of any situation. He had an uncanny ability to light up a room and bring laughter to those who surrounded him. If you were lucky enough to know him, your memories would surely include his witty ability to give nicknames, genuine and endearing nicknames that would last a lifetime. His fun-loving spirit will truly be missed and always in our hearts.
